Dr. Luciana “Lucy” E. Hebert is an Assistant Research Professor in the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and leads the Methods Core at IREACH. She received her PhD in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and her BA in Art History from the University of Chicago. She is formally trained in Demography, and holds certificates in Demography, Population and Health, and Maternal and Child Health. Her research interests include maternal and reproductive health, food security, breastfeeding, prenatal care, gestational diabetes, and perinatal and postpartum mental health. In her free time, Dr. Hebert enjoys spending time with her kids and loved ones, gardening, cooking, and baking. She grew up in Seattle and Juneau, Alaska.
