The American Indian and Alaska Native Health Disparities, Alzheimer’s Disease Center of Excellence (ADCOE) Research Project 2 (RP2): Alzheimer’s Disease and Precision Medicine Among Native People study aims to address gaps in Alzheimer’s Disease and precision medicine research among American Indian and Alaska Native populations. It is a multi-phase study that consists of both a randomized control trial and a registry. In the first phase, we are studying informational materials to see if they effectively recruit American Indian people into Alzheimer’s disease and precision medicine research. In the second phase, we are enrolling participants that have completed Phase 1 of the study into a registry to participate in future studies that focus on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
