IREACH is a university-wide institute that conducts community-based research devoted to mitigating disparities in health and health care among American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and rural populations. It is one of the largest academic units dedicated to the health of Indigenous people in the United States and has worked with 150 partners in 19 states. The IREACH Excellence Fund supports a variety of high impact needs for the Institute not covered by grant funding, including outreach and engagement with partner Tribal and community organizations, and recruitment and support of Indigenous scholars and students.

Yes, gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. The WSU Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that is structurally separate from Washington State University and exists solely for WSU’s benefit, serving as the preferred channel for private gifts to all areas of the University.
