In 2019, we launched the Northwest Health Education and Research Outcomes Network (NW HERON), our new PBRN. The network is composed of a diverse team of Washington State University (WSU) researchers, CEOs, directors, and heads of various Washington state primary care practices who have agreed to work together to address the medical concerns of the communities served by their facilities.

The focus of NW HERON is to create a collaborative relationship between WSU and its affiliated practices to tackle relevant health and health care issues, enhance quality of care, improve community health, decrease health disparities, and connect clinicians with researchers to build knowledge.

Currently, 11 clinical partners are vested in participating in NW HERON, and we are welcoming additional members. For more information about NW HERON, please email nwheron@wsu.edu.
