Keegan Roberts is a Research Study Assistant at the Institute for Research and Education to Advance Community Health at Washington State University (WSU). He has a BS in Microbiology with a minor in Neuroscience. He previously worked at the WSU Neuropsychology and Aging Laboratory. Keegan’s research interests include: neuroscience, specifically the hard problem of consciousness; Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, specifically finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease; microbiology, specifically relating to finding a cure for Crohn’s disease, the brain-gut connection, and the microbiome. Keegan also serves as a Community Math Tutor, ranging from pre-Algebra to Calculus, and helps provide Christmas Food Baskets in Everett, Washington. Keegan’s personal interest include neuroscience, cryptography, mathematics, physics, and history. One Piece, The Wheel of Time, Eragon, and The Once and Future King are among his favorite books. His hobbies include soccer, reading (all kinds, but especially fantasy), sports, traveling and adventuring, and eating good food.
