J. Keʻalohilani Worthington, MPH, is an epidemiologist whose work highlights indigenous health, with a specific focus on Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander populations. She is a Research Coordinator at The Research Corporation of the University of Hawai’i and Papa Ola Lōkahi. She has previously worked with the State of Hawai’i to advocate for an increase in Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander representation in race data and addressing health disparities highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Keʻalohi received her MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2021 and also has a research background in neurodegenerative diseases.
