Duncan Amegbletor, PhD, is a Senior Research Project Manager at WSU IREACH. Duncan holds a PhD in Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences from Auburn University. Duncan’s research interests include minority health disparities, social and environmental determinants of health, and substance use disorders. Currently, he works with the administrative cores of Natives Engaged in Alzheimer’s Research (NEAR) and Native Center for Alcohol Research and Education (NCARE) and provides project management support for the Collaborative Hub to Reduce Burden of Suicide Among Urban Indian and Alaska Native Youth (SUNDANCE) and INdians Transforming Alzheimer’s Care Training (INTACT) research projects. Prior to joining IREACH, he worked as a project manager/data scientist at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. He also served in the data harmonization working group of the Health Equity Action Network (HEAN), a national research consortium. In his free time, Duncan enjoys powerlifting, rock collecting, playing video games, and researching history.
