Anna Zamora-Kapoor, PhD

Dr. Anna Zamora-Kapoor is an Assistant Professor at IREACH with appointments in the Department of Sociology and the Department of Medical Education and Clinical Sciences. She earned her PhD in Sociology from Columbia University. Dr. Zamora-Kapoor serves as principal investigator in research projects on the social determinants of health and health disparities. She is also the Community Liaison for WSU’s Health Equity Research Center. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, traveling, hiking, and swimming. Dr. Zamora-Kapoor is originally from Barcelona, Spain.
