Nicole lee Kamakahiolani Ellison is a Research Project Manager at IREACH. She is Native Hawaiian, originally from Wai’anae, O’ahu, and grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nicole has a Master of Public Health with a specialization in Native Hawaiian and Indigenous Health from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. She is also pursuing her doctoral degree at the University of North Dakota’s Department of Indigenous Health. Along with serving community and local civic clubs, Nicole is passionate about Native Hawaiian health and our access to indigenous food, or lack of access. In her free time, she enjoys meal planning, baking goodies, and hanging with family and friends. Her favorite place to be is at the beach!
