Tessa Fujisaki is a Research Coordinator at IREACH, where she supports the Childhood Obesity: the role of the gut Microbiome, outdoor Time, and Stress (COMETS) and More Outside Your Door (MOYD) projects. She has a BA in Biology from Pomona College and an MPH in Global Health with a graduate certificate in Global Health of Women, Adolescents, and Children from the University of Washington. Tessa is interested in Indigenous health, mental health, community-based participatory research, and ensuring equitable access to nature for youth. In her spare time, she likes to hike, run, knit, and read.
