Ralph Cammack, MPH

Ralph Cammack (W∂last∂kwiyik/ Maliseet First Nation at Kingsclear) is Director of Research at Wabanaki Public Health & Wellness and leads its Center for Wabanaki Research, Knowledge & Innovation. Ralph holds a Master of Public Health from University of Southern Maine. He is passionate about improving the wellbeing of Indigenous populations through culturally responsive, community-based research. With over eight years of experience in community-based public health including during the difficult years of the COVID-19 pandemic, he has strong skills in data analysis and statistics as well as community-based participatory research, which he uses to design, implement, and evaluate projects and interventions. The mission of the Center for Wabanaki Research, Knowledge & Innovation is to weave Indigenous knowledge with western sciences to tell the story of Wabanaki people and create solutions to improve health and wellness within their communities.
