Kandyce Garcia, MEd
Health Sciences Research Specialist at the University of New Mexico
Kandyce is from Kewa Pueblo, formerly known as Santo Domingo Pueblo. She is a Health Sciences Research Specialist, responsible for several research projects with the Center for Native American Health. She received a Master of Health Education degree from the University of New Mexico College of Education in 2021. Kandyce has worked in a variety of settings and capacities within the field of public health. She has gained experience in Native American health disparities, access to care for the LGBTQ2S+ population, program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
