Postdoctoral Research Associate
Dr. Juliana Garcia is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at IREACH. She holds a PhD in Community Psychology from Wichita State University and a Master in Business, Social, and Sustainable Management and BS in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. Dr. Garcia’s research interests include Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, substance use, and public health issues and disparities experienced in minority populations. She is a member of the Natives Engaged in Alzheimer’s Research (NEAR) center, its Cognition After Obstructive Sleep Apnea Among Native American People (CATNAP) project, and the American Heart Association Research is Ceremony project. In her free time, Dr. Garcia enjoys traveling, loom knitting, and spending time with family and outdoors.
