Irving Angeles is a Biostatistician at WSU IREACH. He holds a MS in Biostatistics from New York University and a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of California Los Angeles. He is involved in multiple projects of the Northwest Health Education and Research Outcomes Network (NW HERON) and in initiatives to increase colorectal cancer screening among Alaska Native men. Irving has experience in data management and survey development contributing to the advancement of health disparities research. His research interests include health disparities, occupational health, spatial statistics, and community based research. Irving is dedicated to community involvement and volunteers as an English as a Second Language instructor in his free time. Raised in South Central Los Angeles, Irving enjoys camping, yoga, walking around the city, and dancing cumbia.
