Tribal Liaison / Outreach Coordinator

Christina Veloz is a Tribal Liaison / Outreach Coordinator for IREACH. She possesses a background of 20 years’ experience in the non-profit, education, and government sectors. A high producing professional with demonstrated skill in building capacity and cultivating high functioning teams, Ms. Veloz has worked on regional as well as national programs yielding sustaining results in programs serving youth, low income, rural, Tribal, and communities of color in New York, Washington State, and Idaho. Her expertise in assessing departments’ issues and/or gaps has led to strengthened department accountability and transparency contributing to staff retention and fiscal responsibility for departments. Ms. Veloz possesses exceptional skills in outreach and building and sustaining community partnerships. She has led the implementation and management of TRIO grant programs of Upward Bound and Gear Up programs in rural Washington State, directed StoryCorps Mobile Department and University of Idaho Office of Multicultural Affairs, and two assignments as Partnership Specialist for the U.S. Census Bureau 2010 and 2020 Decennial Census. Ms. Veloz is a native of Idaho and a graduate of Boise State University and Seattle University. Currently, she lives in Boise with her pack and enjoys spending time dancing and swimming.
