Washington State University recognized IREACH, the WSU College of Nursing, and the American Heart Association at the 2022 Apple Cup for their goals to increase American Indian clinical trial participation to improve cardiometabolic health. The project, funded by the American Heart Association, will identify solutions underlying the inequitable participation of diverse individuals in clinical research, and the associated health inequities it creates.
