Tess Cullaz is a Research Study Assistant with the IREACH, working primarily on the Health Outcomes in Preschool: Innovations for Obesity Prevention (HOP-IN) study, which investigates the impact of outdoor time on health outcomes in young children. Tess graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2020 with a BS in Psychology and Outdoor Education. She has also worked for the past five years with a local outdoor leadership development program coordinating course logistics and leading backpacking trips all over Washington for middle and high schoolers. In her free time, Tess enjoys any activity that gets her outside and moving, from mountain biking, to snowboarding, and walks around Green Lake.
